SAMC Wellness: Pelvic Floor PT + Pilates Class

Join Rebecca Meehan (PT, WCS, PYT) of Embody Physiotherapy & Wellness and Megan Johnson of Finding Form Pilates for an informational and movement-based session exploring the anatomical changes women’s bodies experience during pregnancy—and how those changes impact posture, mobility, and strength.

The class will include breath work, spinal mobility exercises, pelvic floor release and recruitment, and deep abdominal activation.

A Q&A will follow at the end.

This month we’re teaming up with the Sewickley Run Club! Come enjoy a fun, social run through town—followed by optional drinks and camaraderie at a local bar. All paces welcome.

Meet us at 6:15 PM at the corner of Beaver & Broad (next to J. McLaughlin). Choose your route from 1 to 5 miles and go entirely at your own pace! You can look at the route ahead of time on the SRC website, but plenty of people will be around to walk/ run with. We'll regroup at 7:30 PM at the same corner. This event is tailored to new and prospective members wanting to learn about the club, but it's open to returning members who want to mix and mingle, too! Meet other like-minded, no-drama women who get it—this season of life is messy, busy, and beautiful. We’re all about making face-to-face connections, building real friendships, and creating community (with snacks, desserts, and a little wine to help!). Hear from our club leaders about what’s coming up this season (Sept–May) and learn how we also give back—this year we're supporting Center for Hope in Ambridge.

The event is at the YMCA Walter J. Brannon Community Center (in the upper parking lot by the paddle courts). Open to all Sewickley-area moms—and those nearby who want in! 💛

Grab your friends and join us to kick off summer at our annual FAMILY FIELD DAY & FUN RUN at Sewickley Academy!

Grab your friends and join us for some field day fun! It's Sewickley Mom's Club final celebration of the season. 🎉

We'll have games, a food truck, face painting, bounce house, field activities with Coach Dave, "Touch-A-Truck" for the cool kids, and "Touch-A-Van" for the cool moms 😎 thanks to Jim Shorkey Auto Group.

We'll also be facilitating our Fun Run - a short sprint in the grass for your kiddos, so tell them to put on their fastest sneakers! 🏅(Feel free to hold a hand or run with them) Please kindly note your children's ages when you RSVP for your family. There will be different age groups for your children to run/twaddle in the fun run. All racers will line up at 3:30. Find the check-in table beforehand to get your racing bib!
