Misha Garrison
PRESIDENT
Hello! This season, I’m thrilled to serve as the president of our club. I grew up in Los Angeles and then lived in Santa Barbara and the Maryland suburbs of DC for a few years. The pandemic inspired my husband Jim and I to leave the DC suburbs to bubble with my in-laws in Cranberry in 2020 since we had no family in DC and a newly one-year old. We missed the walkability of DC so we moved to Sewickley village in fall 2022. I joined SAMC a few months later and it has been a wonderful way to make friends for both me and my kids. I’m a stay at home mom in this season of my life, caring for Naomi (6) and Lily (20 months). When I get a free moment, I love to read sci-fi and fantasy books, practice yoga, and have impromptu dance parties.

Christine Spradling
VICE PRESIDENT
Hey! My name is Christine. I’m originally from Colorado, but my family and I moved to Sewickley three years ago after spending seven wonderful years in Amsterdam. When we first arrived and didn’t know anyone, the Sewickley Mom’s Club was such a blessing—it helped me step out of my shell and connect with other moms in the neighborhood. After the birth of my second child, I decided to stay home full-time. My husband, Brent and I have James (4), Eva (18 months), and are excited to welcome baby #3 this coming February! We stay busy, but in our free time we love being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, biking, or even just tending to our tomato plants.

Amanda Upton
CO-TREASURER
After several years being impressed by the SAMC, I’m pleased to serve as co-Treasurer. I grew up and have deep roots in Eastern NC. I went to undergrad at UNC (and got to see my Heels win the NCAA as a student). After living in East Pittsburgh for a couple of years, I dragged my native spouse not only through a tunnel but over a bridge to move to the best area around. We have enjoyed living in the hills above the village ever since. I’ve spent my career in finance and institutional investing, the last 13 years of which with a large family office in town. I love anything outdoors including skiing, running, cycling, boating, hiking, gardening, and playing with my kids.
-
Robin Bolea
CO-TREASURER
Hi, I’m Robin Bolea, a mom of a fun-loving four-year-old and a proud Sewickley resident for the past four years. My husband Stephen, our dog Winston, and I love being part of this community. As the treasurer of the Sewickley Area Moms Club, I enjoy connecting with other moms and discovering fun activities to do with toddlers in the area. Looking forward to meeting more local moms and sharing great experiences together!

Kristin Weber
SOCIAL CHAIR
I grew up in Pittsburgh, before beginning my career as a high school English teacher in Northern Virginia. My husband, Ryan, and I returned home and settled in Sewickley in 2016 knowing we would soon start a family. I’ve been at home with our children since 2020 and joined the Mom’s Club in 2023. We have two boys and a little girl—Brady, Beau, and Leni.
-
Chelsea Simon
SOCIAL CHAIR
Hi everyone! I'm Chelsea Simon — born and raised in Pittsburgh, but after 18 sunny years in San Diego, my husband Ryan and I decided it was time to trade palm trees for pierogies and move back home to be closer to family. We’ve got two awesome kids: Max (7) and Whitney (5), who keep life loud, fun, and full of snacks. Joining the Mom’s Club has been such a gift — I’ve been blown away by the community, creativity, and all the amazing events! Right now, I’m in a season of rediscovering what I want to be when I grow up (again ). In the meantime, I moonlight as a wedding officiant — which means I get to celebrate love on the weekends, and I kind of love that. Can’t wait to connect with more of you!
-
Amy Jo Cross
SOCIAL CHAIR
Hi! I’m Amy Jo. I grew up in Erie, PA and moved to Pittsburgh for work, where—funny enough—I ended up meeting my husband, who’s also from Erie! We now live here with our two-year-old son, Jack, and we’re excited to welcome another baby boy this October. Being part of this group has been such a wonderful way to connect with other moms and discover everything the community has to offer. I’m excited to serve as Social Chair and help plan fun events that bring us all together!
-
Rachel Bukenberger
SOCIAL CHAIR
Hi there! I'm Rachel and I've lived in Sewickley for 3 years now. I grew up in a suburb outside of Harrisburg, then met my husband at Penn State. After graduating we were long distance for a couple years but then decided to settle down together in Pittsburgh in 2019. We have 2 little boys, Ernest (3) and Finn (6 mo.) that keep life full of fun (and sleepless). I joined the club last year and enjoyed meeting so many of you at our events. Looking forward to another year!
-
Jennifer Belliveau
SUNSHINE CHAIR
I grew up in Wexford but lived away from Pittsburgh for 20 years. When we moved back to Sewickley from London two years ago, I joined SAMC as a great way to meet other local women. With a busy work travel schedule and three kids at home, SAMC has been an amazing resource to get to know the community and the many wonderful families who live here. I love to cook and am excited to help new parents and others who need a helping hand with meal trains as the Sunshine Chair!

Catherine Vallejo
BABIES COORDINATOR
Hello! I’m so excited to be the babies coordinator this year! My husband and I moved to Sewickley from Seattle in 2022 and have three kids ranging in ages from 0 to 4. I’m a stay at home mom, and you can find me grabbing coffee at Press or taking my kids to different playgrounds around the village. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Elena Chiappa
3 & UNDER CO-COORDINATOR
While I grew up in Philadelphia, my husband and I moved to Sewickley from Detroit in 2021 shortly before welcoming our daughter, Caroline. Mom's club has been a great resource to meet other parents and find friends for my daughter as well as myself. I'm a huge baseball fan and never miss an excuse to go to a game. I'm excited to plan some fun 3 & Under playdates and to do my best to accommodate a range of schedules so we can include as many families as possible.

Lacey Murray
3 & UNDER CO-COORDINATOR
Hello, I’m Lacey! I grew up in West Virginia and moved to Pittsburgh a little over 9 years ago for a job at the Children’s Museum. In my role there I manage the museum’s work with artists and the art collection. My family includes my 3 year old twins, Spencer and Scarlett, my husband Tim, and our family dog Beauford. We are in the full-throttle toddler stage and most of our time is spent attempting to keep up with our little rascals. In my “free-time” I enjoy exercising (running, swimming, peloton workouts), reading, and creating things (art, cooking, play things for my kids, etc.). I’m an artist as well, and forever trying to carve out time for my art practice (painter, ceramics, mixed media). I’ve been a member of SAMC since 2022 and looking forward to continuing to meet and connect with other moms that can relate to all the fun, love, struggle, and chaos motherhood brings.

Lily Starr
4 & Over Coordinator
Hello! I grew up in FL but have been in the Pittsburgh area for over 10 years now. My husband grew up in Sewickley. We love the area and wanted our son to live closer to his grandparents and now he will (right next door actually!). My son just turned 4. He is silly, sweet, smart, and the love of our lives. I’ve been involved with SAMC since 2022 and it has been such a supportive and wonderful resource!
-
Lauralee Kaminski
MNO CO-COORDINATOR
In 2018, when my husband Joel and I found out we were expecting our first child, I left my career as a traveling occupational therapist to become a stay-at-home mom in Pittsburgh. We welcomed our son in 2019, and since then, our family has grown to include three daughters. Life with 4, 6 and under is full of chaos but I’m learning to embrace it. My family is my favorite blessing!

Christina Noll Wegemer
MNO CO-COORDINATOR
I moved to Moon, PA from Houston, TX in June 2019 with my husband and our cat. Since then we've had two kids, Laurel (5) and Drew (4). I joined SAMC when my youngest turned one and now my oldest is entering kindergarten! We're less than 15 minutes away from the village and love spending time over the bridge in this great community. I enjoy engaging with new people during our meet ups. Being a mom is huge but being with this village makes it feel less scary. We can help each other! Remember to make time for yourself and I hope to see you at one of our events soon!
-
Sandra Baker
WELLNESS COORDINATOR
Hi, I’m Sandra! I grew up in Pittsburgh and have called Moon Township home for the past few years. I’m mom to Amelia (4) and Oliver (6), who keep life busy, fun, and full of adventures. I joined SAMC in 2022 to connect with other moms and quickly found it to be such a supportive and inspiring community. This year, I’m excited to serve as the club’s first Wellness Coordinator, a new role focused on helping moms carve out space for themselves, whether through fitness, mental health, or rediscovering their identity outside of family life. Outside of mom life, I work at a library and love traveling, fitness, volleyball, and spending time outdoors. I look forward to encouraging moms to make time for themselves and to creating a space where we can all feel refreshed, inspired, and connected.
-
Kat Walker
WEBSITE COORDINATOR
I grew up in Virginia and have lived in various places around the country. Ten years ago, my husband and I moved to Pittsburgh to settle down, start a business, and grow our family. We made the move to Sewickley in the fall of 2021 with our baby daughter in tow. That little baby is five now, and we recently welcomed our second daughter in June! SAMC has been such a positive aspect of our lives, and has really helped our family feel connected and supported in so many ways. Outside of mom life, I love painting, photography, reading, cooking, getting outside, going to concerts, traveling, playing video games, trying new restaurants, and all things Halloween!

Rachael Wonderlin
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
I’m from South Jersey and went to college in Virginia, grad school in North Carolina, and then moved to Pittsburgh for work in 2015. My husband has lived in Sewickley for a long time, so when we got engaged we bought a home here together! We met doing improv comedy in the city—I was actually his team’s coach for years before we started dating. Our son is two years old and the light of our lives, and we also have a cat and a dog who don’t get along with each other! I have a Master’s in Gerontology and started my company, Dementia By Day, in 2016. You can often find me walking around town or lifting at the YMCA!
-
Becca Root
NEWSLETTER COORDINATOR
Originally from Detroit, I lived in Boston for 8 years prior to moving to Sewickley with my husband and pup in 2023. We knew we wanted to be close to family (my husband grew up in Pittsburgh) when we started our family. Our daughter Addie was born in November 2023 and I joined the Mom's club right before she arrived. It has been a wonderfully supportive group, especially as a Pittsburgh newbie! I currently work for The Pittsburgh Foundation. I look forward to meeting more amazing moms in our community!
